I know that I have a lot of praying friends and family … our sweet Baby needs your prayers for a miracle. We went today for our 20 week ultrasound and received devastating news. At this point, the chances of our Baby being born alive are very slim. We will have an appointment with specialists within the week to find out more conclusive news. At this point, our hearts are breaking and we covet your prayers of strength for the weeks ahead. Thank you dear friends.
Edited to add: I wasn’t trying to be vague, but the difficulty for our Baby is that it doesn’t have any amniotic fluid, which indicates a lack of both kidneys, or at best, severely under functioning kidneys.

Despite a hurting heart, I have so many things to be thankful for today … for friends and family who have wrapped us up in your love and prayers – thank you so much, from both of us. For the ability to feel the bittersweet movements of our sweet little one. For the normalcy that our beautiful boys provide – Patrick sized bed head, Caleb’s excitement that the surgeon may give him a permanent cast today, Terence’s hand in mine as I dropped him off at his VBS. For my parents and their wonderful strength and help. For my husband – who has proven all ready that things are easier to bear when your best friend is by your side. For the peace that all of your prayers are providing. Again, thank you – we so appreciate you all!
